Bodies of Three Missing Israeli Teens Found Near Hebron - ABC News

The bodies of three Israeli teenagers who were kidnapped in the West Bank earlier this month have been found north of the city of Hebron, Israeli media reported today.

An emergency cabinet meeting has been called for 2:30 p.m. ET, and an announcement could come during or after the meeting, a source told ABC News. An Israeli Defense Force briefing is also expected.

Hamas, the Palestinian militant group accused by Israel of taking the boys, has denied kidnapping the teens, though senior Israeli and Palestinian officials agree that the abductors were likely tied to -- or part of -- Hamas but operating without orders from the organization's leadership.

One of the teens, 16-year-old Naftali Frenkel, had dual U.S.-Israeli citizenship and his family is from Brooklyn, N.Y. The two others were Gilad Shaar and Eyal Yifrach.

Israeli forces have conducted raids in the West Bank in the search for the teens and their kidnappers since they were abducted on June 12. Since the search started, more than 240 Palestinians have been arrested in the operation dubbed "Brother's Keeper," the army said.

Knesset sessions for tonight have been cancelled, according to Israeli media reports.

There are reports that Israeli soldiers have already been deployed in Hebron, and Israeli TV stations earlier showed pictures of soldiers searching through rubble and military vehicles moving through the village of Halhul, just north of Hebron.

At the end of a White House press briefing, Press Secretary Josh Earnest was asked about the report of the deaths, news of which broke in the middle of the briefing.

“We obviously condemn in the strongest possible term, violence that takes the lives of innocent civilians,” he said. “But I don’t want to react any further without having a chance to take a look at that report myself.”

I have no doubt that Netanyahu is going to shamelessly use their deaths as a political tool, actually, he already is.

Be sure their will be a revenge but we are not savage as terrorist jihadest
I think revenge was already had by arresting 240 people, 90% of whom had nothing to do with the kidnapping. What Israel did is collective punishment.

Hamas had nothing to do with this, let me clarify that. Go in my 'Gaza under attack' thread and you will see the beginning of the affair to where it is now.

In that 'search' process, they've demolished dozens of homes, detained over 600 Palestinians. Killed seven civilians in the West Bank and launched attacks on Gaza which killed three and wounded several. Not a single Indian expressed his condolences.

No evidence was revealed to support their claims even though the Israeli PM kept promising to present 'undeniable' proof.

I said myself in that thread they will find an excuse to attack Gaza over something Gaza had no responsibility over. Which is why I created the thread three weeks before hand.

Hamas is responsible , Hamas will not see the sun light.
It give Israel every right to assassinate every Hamas member and their supporter

Nonsense, this is an Israeli scheme. You are a warmongering lunatic. If you kill anybody there will be another uprising in occupied Palestine and Gaza won't let you get away with mass murder.

We might as well say the Likud is responsible for the past two weeks of atrocities against our people and we have the right to assassinate their members and supporters(Which make up a large portion of the Israeli population).

Would that be acceptable to you?

I think Israeli leadership doesnt have the mood for eliminating Hamas.

^^ Both are terrorists, the only difference is that the other terrorists have access to high tech weapons while the other terrorists use stones and bricks.

I dont think the other side is terrorist. It depends on how you look at it.
If you were under occupation, would you not resist (violently if necessary)?

Well, i dont believe that Israelis are all monsters and hell bent on drinking Palestinian bloods. I mean there is a huge chance for a peace deal if both sides committed themself 100%.

You want a state ? well sit done with the boss (they are, no denying on it) and negotiate your way out.

And what do they do ? just kill more people and invite harsher response. I sometimes wonder what the IQ of these people are.

I disagree,
israel simply will not allow Palestinians to have a state of their own (that is viable and free from Israeli occupation).
Im afraid you have not fully grasped the nature of these zionists.
