Accidental blast in POF confirmed, technical support teams are at site.

A friend of mine who lives there sent me this, happened due to impact of blast. What's interesting is that he says he lives around 10km away from the factory.

Could be in WAPDA house, which is nearer to Residential area.

Did some geolocation through photos, it's near Aslam Market and some AKU specimen collection and diagnostic lab, which is nearby the POF factories.

FYI I've been to Wah Cantt once in my life, when I was barely crawling. So take what I'm saying with a pinch of salt.
 
Those from forces should update this. As it's sensitive area speculation should be avoided and let's wait for ISPR press release.

Finally that incapable and ineffective institution has been put to rest.
 
Such accidents in ordnance factories are not unheard of.
I lost a cousin in one such accident at POF Wah.
But safety is much more in place now.
