Self-styled "godman" Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, who was sentenced to 20 years in jail for raping two of his disciples, had a deal with BJP to withdraw sexual assault cases against him, claims his daughter.

According to a Sandhya Dainik report, his daughter Honeypreet said that the Dera chief had met BJP National President Amit Shah and had offered votes of his followers in favour of BJP in return of removing rape cases against him.

She reportedly said that he first met Anil Jain, one of the national office bearers of the BJP, and Anil helped him to arrange a sitting with Amit Shah.

She also claimed that her father had ensured Shah the support of BJP in 28 assembly seats.

Senior lawyer Prashant Bhushan has taken to the twitter to write about the unholy nexus between BJP and Dera chief.

Bhushan, sharing a report of National Dastak on the same, wrote on twitter:

"Wow! RamRahim's daughter says BJP's deal was that the rape case would be withdrawn for support in Haryana election".

The National Dastak report said that BJP National Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya had also met the controversial leader during Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in Haryana seeking electoral support for the party.

Earlier, the self-appointed cult leader's association with Haryana Chief Minister M.L. Khattar has been exposed a day after he was convicted in the rape case.

An old tweet of Prime Minister Narendra Modi praising Dera chief had also gone viral on social media.

On October 29, 2014, Modi wrote on twitter. “Appreciable effort by Baba Ram Rahim ji & his team. Will motivate people across India to join Swachch Bharat Mission”.

Modi has not broken his silence over Baba's conviction in the case yet, though he condemned the violence unleashed by his agitated fans in Haryana and Punjab.

“The instances of violence today are deeply distressing, I strongly condemn the violence and urge everyone to maintain peace. The law and order situation is being closely monitored. I reviewed the situation with NSA & Home Secretary. Urged officials to work round-the-clock to restore normality and provide all possible assistance that is required", Modi said.

So as per this report, the BJP promised to support a Rapist in exchange for votes and when they got those votes, they did not support that man but rather choose to let Law take its own course.

BJP has no jurisdiction over the matter, the court took its time and delivered a proper judgment. However, Khattar must go, he's incapable of running a government and controlling mass anarchy if it involves his party's vote bank.

Suddenly she has more credibility than Modi ?

Dude if BJP had tried to save him, this man would have been free.

The CBI investigations were in govt. hand., the public prosecutor was in govt. hand , the freaking judge would have been in govt. hand.

There is no way in Hell this man would be in Jail if BJP had supported him.


A "Court case" is only as strong as the prosecutor makes it kiddo. If a prosecutor wants, he can suppress evidence, make witness disappear and have a mistrial and dismiss the entire case.

A "judge" is just a referee and can only pass judgement on what the prosecutor and defender says. HE cannot take into account any evidence or facts that has not been presented by the prosecution.


Judges are the most corrupt people in India, LOL at your naive comment that they uphold India.
