It is not entirely about people listening to Pakistan. It is about:

• Giving legitimacy to Pakistan as a defender for IM rights, something which we voluntarily relinquished for no reason a long time ago.
• You really underestimate what a country acting a spokesperson for a group of people can do. So far, the world has started to recognize the beastliness of the largest community in India thanks to independent journos. The world had no obligation to listen to them and it was entirely against their self-interest to do so, but it happened. If you speak up, someone will end up listening.
