Not everything is going good for Lalu Nitish alliance as opposite to expected the extreme OBC vote bank of Nitish is not united, a significant portion may bend in to the NDA alliance , and JitanRam Manjhi who may not be a big player but he also brings in more backward votes.

I hope MIM starts its campaign more vigorously so that the Muslim vote bank is not united.

PS:- I am ashamed that in this 21st century we are talking about caste for votes in Bihar.

Although BJP is trying its best, but i beleive Bihar is going to see a fractured mandate where RJD+Lalu may go ahead from NDA with few more seats..And then the real drama will start between JDU and Lalu..

Have you seen what the Mayawati lady has done in UP?

JP movement? Sure if you can resurrect JP, I am all for it....because he would immediately back BJP obviously.

As for the "remnants"....yah they are about as useful as the remnant of congress party....and about as related to JP as congress is to Nehru.

I doubt it, Left has around 2.5% vote share in Bihar, Arrival of MIM and the SP,NCP will further widdle away from his Vote share.Loosing just 3 to 3.5% of your vote share will be huge...

C-Voter poll is give RJD-JDU alliance a slight edge while India Today-Cisero Opinion Poll predicting BJP to form govt with Majority.
Anyway Just 2 months back people were writing off BJP just because JDU-RJD alliance but now all pollsters are not only saying its back in game but even predicting its victory. Even C-Voter accepted that in last 3 months, BJP is continuously increasing its voter share and RJD alliance is losing it.

We can expect caste politics to win especially in Bihar ..Nithish and lalu may win this round ..But there is no doubt that bjp will be the single largest party and has a bright future on its own in the state ..There is no face for bjp apart from modi ..and modi needs to be in his classical best to clinch this victory ..In my opinion everything will boils out how paswan and manji will perform after 100+ a seats gained by bjp..Hmmm.. Anyway I want lalu to to vanish from politics ..Let's hope it will be like that ...

It is sad to see the kind of regressive politics Congress is doing after their defeat in LS, they couldn't even take a comprehensive defeat gracefully and work constructively in an opposition role, opposition do question and oppose the government, it's their job. But what Congress is doing is very immature and harmful for the country's interest.

I think, though this grand alliance will consolidate votes, but it will also drive away some of the Nitish Kumar's votes to BJP because of the presence of Lalu and Congress in the alliance.

Main hand behind defeat of Nitish will be his own people/ex-voters....mark my word BJP alliance will get huge victory probably 140-170 seats...even in home district of Nitish BJP would get 3-4 seats out of 7....
BJP voters:-
1. Total vote from upper castes
2. Kurmi-Koyri(named as Patidar) who voted Nitish kumar to get rid from Jungal Raj
3. Backward caste due to manjhi and Paswan
4. Youth Yadav due to popularity of Modi
It would be "Sone pe Suhaga" if AIMIM will fight election.Good news is major vote of Yadav will disperse in western Bihar(UP-Bihar border) as SP is contesting independently..
*Although i don't want caste/religion politics but it is reality of UP,Bihar.Caste politics these days are less than 2000,2004 and decreases significantly in 2010 and 2014 election but unfortunately it is on rise in this election
