Lalu was very arrogant & Nitish who should have been the happiest man alive after crushing the man because of whom he left the NDA & was humiliated was just " satisfied" .. That tells us enough on what their expectations for the future are.

Nitish knows Lalu will do this & will now be planning/fearing for the future which is why he is only satisfied.

& even if he can control Lalu & his MLAs,he cannot control the RJD goondas & local bahubalis who have finally attained power after 10 years of what they call "suffering"

One can start writing epitaph of Modi after Bihar elections but the fact is that Modi is NO VAJPAYEE, no way he is losing power in just 5 years. BJP may have lost Delhi & Bihar but there is still no national alternative to Modi in 2019.

A person heading the central government has many OPTIONS (which i would not like to discuss ) to remain in power until & unless people are totally against him & his Government.

Modi will lose 2019 (I will be happy to be proven wrong).

The opposition parties have found a template now to defeat BJP in two states where they won around 100 seats (yes UP and Bihar). And once those 100 seats are gone BJP can kiss goodbye to ruling the center.

Modi should have realized that only 31% people voted for him. He should have reached out the Nitish when he became PM. But that change is gone now and with that Modi's chair in 2019 too.

Vote percentages can be combined. Bihar election are a proof for it. Anyways we will know more when UP elections happens.

99% of the reforms don't require a constitutional amendment other than land bill and GST. Hopefully the National Herald case can be used to arm twist congress into accepting reforms...

I posted a plain fact. It has nothing to do with opposition.

I don't think reforms will be affected much by any Indian Government. Arun Shourie's remarks might be caustic, but he was right when he said BJP's economic agenda is exactly same as UPA's. Modi just added more energy to it with words and marketing.

Just announcing policies is not enough, it is important to execute them as well. Besides....there has been reforms on a lot of sectors which UPA would have never announced or even thought off. For one to say UPA is NDA is plain falsehood. Arun Shourie is past his prime and is just upset at not getting Finance ministry.
