Big win against Pakistan as World Bank says India allowed to construct hydroelectric power plants un

. .
That as a matter of fact is win of Pakistan. India was always allowed to crate electricity out of water, but they could not create "GATED DAMS" or store/block Pakistan's water. Now WB says India cannot breach the treaty and cannot create storage dams on Pakistan's rightful water.

But Indian's disgraced government the $hit Media will feed Indians every possible $hit and salute to Indians for eating it so happily - and living on it without complaining!

Wow so much spin even Ajmal will get complex

Both cases India won the ruling. But in the ICJ case if Pakistan violates the ruling it will once again prove that it is a rogue state which cant be trusted

It doesn't prove anything. Pakistan is not bound to obey ICJ rulings. Many countries have gone against its rulings and none of them are called rouge state.

What if India builds gated dams and reservoirs to generate electricity and then return back 'your water' back to the river via a separate channel. Would that still amount to stealing your water?
Nevermind... We will henceforth do whatever is best in our interests, all you can do is beg and whine.

The Treaty itself governs such "run of the river" projects, as well as specifying how much land can be irrigated in India from these rivers.

All the more reason to NOT go to ICJ, no?

Then why did Pakistan go to ICJ, if not for mere domestic consumption?

Paani me se bijli bat nikalo yaar... warna Pakistan ko jo paani milega uski taaqat kam ho jayegi. Gandum ki achhi paidawaar kaise hogi? :woot:

Indian design were with Pakistan and still they created problems and went to WB against these projects. It seems World Bank needs to throw eggs on the face to shake up its senses and tell India is doing everything within the rules.
