That costs like thousands of DOLLARS in Latakia province. It's like a targeting pod. Targeting pods take up hard point and reduces bomb load. And having drones designate targets means pilots don't have to sight targets visually and they can release bombs from more than 10 km away instead of from only a few km away. So usually they just use a drone instead of a targeting pod to designate targets for laser guided bombs.
Also, they are used for laser target designation for Krasnopol 152 mm laser guided artillery shells.
