Biden Administration appoint kusra as 4 star Admiral

. . .
These people are sinking hard (no pun intended)

If the promotion is on merit and suitable for the job, then the gender of the candidate has no bearing on it. There is no shame or sinking in equal and fair treatment by merit.

. .
It is a Ceremonial rank like the Surgeon General who is a Vice Admiral.

Lower than the lowest has no merit what so ever.

How to be sure of the merit when diversity hiring has been a mainstream thing for a while now?

Diversity hiring comes into play only when the "all else being equal" criterion comes into play.

The same Creator made all humans, to like them or not is a fault within us, and not His creations. Who gave you the the right to judge who is lower or higher than the other? Have you forgotten what our Prophet PBUH taught us? Shame on you and your kind of thinking.

So your objection is? The person did not choose his/her gender. Born that way, we should respect instead of mocking people because Allah created them in this way.

That's the assertation where's the proof? How can that be ensured when there are literally quotas to fill?

Actually, you made the assertion that diversity hiring prevents selection on merit, unsupported of course. The onus is on you, methinks.
