Bhutto pledges to defend minorities in Pakistan

.
Salman,
I can copy/paste numerous articles and op-eds about Zia and his damage to Pakistan. Enough said that EVEN Nawaz Sharif has disowned Zia.
In another topic you said that the killer of Taseer was wrong. That should make you appreciate what Bilawal is saying unless you did not mean what you said then and were being hypocritical.
Zia is not a subject here. We are talking about Taseer's death and public reaction. So please don't bring that ultimate destroyer of Pakistan Zia into this. Start another topic for your 'Amir ul Mominoon' if you wish.

Afghanistan already has it legally but it is not as explicit as it is in pakistan. It is also in saudia, yemen and Iran. In other countries you have to go to jail.

it is pretty bad in afghanistan as well. A very well known journalist was jailed because he had helped to publish the translation of the Quran in Persian. Although the very first time the Quran was translated was in Farsi language, but the mullahs and justice ministry objected to it as it didnt have the arabic text, another guy was sentenced to death, but GoA claimed that the guy was crazy and mentaly unstable, ironically the guy himself said he was absolutely FINE and he is christian now, he expressed no fear if he is killed, the third case was about a young student called Parviz Kambakhsh, his only crime was that he used to ask many questions from mullahs at his university, thats what the mullahs dont like, he was also sentenced to long term prison, death penalty was strongly proposed by mullahs against the 3 of them.

So what do you suggest.

leave this issue altoghter aside, what is the point of brining religion into state afairs. There should strong work place policies in place, no religious and political talks should take place at work, work place is where you work, if we had this thing in place, it could at least saved asia bibi, if i am not wrong what happend between her and the other women was in work place.

This is getting off-topic. I have no desire to watch Zia's face. I have seen it for 11 years and that was enough. He single handedly ruined Pakistan in his 11 years of absolute mis-rule.

But, if you insist how the Pakistani look at Zia, here it is:

http://pakistaniat.com/2009/08/17/atp-poll-leaders/

This is not a PPP vote; in fact, the entire site has far too many anti-Zardari, anti-PPP voices.

But Zia was so cruel, so morally bankrupt, so damaging to Pakistan that a whopping 42% of Pakistanis say that he did 'most harm' to Pakistan. If the poll is taken now it may be even worse for Zia.

Are you ignorant or naive ?

What age group represents the maximum users of internet in Pakistan ?

there, problem solved ! ( age < Gen Zia's time)

Now as to derailing the thread, you had to loath out and start of with Gen Zia; and I only corrected you, and requested you not to erase boundaries between truth and lies. I Quoted the general's speech regarding Qadyanis, and regarding his warning to Mullahs NOT to abuse the law.

You could not get over your prejudice and commented without knowing.

To me that blind hate is no different than a Mullah's speech.

I hold the same views, and I think the Qadri monkey still should be hanged, BUT I also think liberal should also be hanged for taking to the other extreme.

Please look back, and see the trail of who started what.
I think it would be nice if you could apologize for misrepresenting the facts.

Salman,
You actually suggested that somehow Zardari is not a full Pakistani because Zardari -may- hold another passport. Did you not?! What were you trying to say then? Oh, never mind. Running mouth. Just that.
Also, ATP is some of the most 'mature' group of Pakistani bloggers. Fine if you don't believe that--it is hard to convince to the lovers of autocrats like you. But what would you make of the people of Pakistan dumping your Zia legacy to history's dustbin. Actually, history's sewerage!
You don't have answer to any of these.
Back to the topic! At least you call that Qadri as a 'monkey'. That's a start.
