Bhopal rape survivor hangs self, hubby ends life after 2 days

BHOPAL: Barely a day after a rape survivor committed suicide by hanging herself, her husband followed suit. After having performed his wife’s last rites, the man returned home and hanged himself on Sunday evening.


The woman’s death was reported at Chhola Mandir police station while her husband’s was reported at Hanumanganjpolice station. The deceased couple, who got married in 2011, are survived by a five-year-old daughter. Police are yet to recover any suicide note in either of the incidents.

Police said the woman, 30, stayed at a rented accommodation in Shiv Nagar with her husband Vivek and daughter. Vivek worked at a mobile phone shop. On Saturday night, when Vivek returned home his wife did not open the door for long. He called her brother, who lived nearby. The duo broke open the door only to find her hanging.

I suggest to all these rape victims who are planning to commit suicides that do us a favour before you commit the suicide, take a gun, a knife, a dagger, an axe, a hammer, a kerosene canister or whatever you can grab and kill a few perpetrators before you leave this world. List of targets is as follows: the complicit police officers and men, saffron bhakties who support the rapists and rape, the court officials and judges who fail to provide you the timely justice and convict the criminals, the politicians who are either incompetent or complicit, and the rapist.
You will leave the world but with few less scumbags so a slightly better world and your soul will feel the happiness and the best will be if you just dispatch the culprit and decide not to kill rather live to kill the rapists.

That's why suicide is haram in Islam because it is a selfish and a cowardly act. If I could question them that you both had decided to end your lives and reach that extreme, then why did you not first kill and dispatch the perpetrator to the hell..and rapist is not the only one...all who support this culture of rape and oppressing the victim are equally responsible.

Those who kill themselves aren't cowards. Most think about suicide but don't have the courage to go forward.
