SLAMABAD: The Scotland Yard team, which conducted an investigation into the death of former PPP Chairperson Benazir Bhutto, said her death was not caused by a bullet.

The text of probe report, which was presented to the interior ministry, said the death of Benazir Bhutto was caused by the force and intensity of suicide bomb blast, which hurled her head to dash into some part of the vehicle resulting into her death.

The report does not tell about which elements were involved in the Benazir Bhutto case.

The report has not been formally issued.

Scotland Yard were not hired to talk about who did it...they were there to ascertain what the circumstances of her death were and they did just that.

anyway the head of the US CIA has confirmed AQ and Taliban as her killers.

Right I understand it was not their job, I am just saying if there is a fuss made by anyone it should be about who organized the assasination, not exactly how it all went down in the last 15 seconds because that sheds no light on who organized the attack, why they did it and how they got the bomber and the shooter to coordinate.

My bad, I did not mean to sound like Scotland Yard made a big blunder like that. I am sure they did exactly what they were requested to do within the parameters they were given and never did or said anything they were not allowed. But I was just saying, what is the point of having them look around with a microscope to confirm what the video cameras have already revealed...except for a few tiny details which don't even matter.

The findings would seem to corroborate and clear the GoPs assertion shortly after her death. This seems valuable in light of the speculation surrounding the gov't.

Scotland Yard's credentials are damn near impeccable. Their team leaders won't risk their professional careers and reputations by issuing false findings to satisfy the GoP. They wouldn't bend to the will of the British gov't and they sure as hell wouldn't do so for Pakistan so the findings themselves are almost certainly the cause of death.

That should quell the angst generated in the populace by the likes of people such as yourself.

I would only add that now after such statement from SY... PPP shouting for BB being shot and conduct inquiry from UN team will have no value since only Zardari not allowed the Autopsy at the time of BBs death and it will make people understand that if some Ambiguity has been created than its is only by PPP and nothing else!

Lessens the effect of BBs death as a bonus point for votes for PPP, I suggest!....

You know some people had suggested before that Benazir faked her first assasination attempt in order to blame the army. It sounds incredible but many people have said that at a certain point Benazir got tired and put her head down and went inside her van. Then just as she went inside her van there was a huge explosion and 150 people later died. I have not seen proof of this and I have not even seen the first video where she ducked down to have a rest but this is what some pro-musharaff people have said that she just wanted to create drama.

Now supposing that is true, let us look at her second attack which killed her. Two things happened. First there was a guy shooting a gun. And second there was a guy exploding a bomb. Now is it possible that the second assasination was meant to be a fake one? Maybe the guy with the gun was supposed to be given blanks to fire. And the firings were meant as a signal for the bomber to explode his charge? And the firings were also meant as a signal for Benazir to go inside her car? But this time the people who were going to do the fake drama for her actually killed her, by giving the shooter real bullets instead of blanks.

Yes I know this sounds incredible but it is just another theory as to how she died so strangely. Also explains why she refused so much security from Musharraff.
