Its pretty interesting. My note series Samsung has the American gps as its primary location service but changes over to galileo incase GPS signal is weak

Gps standard accuracy without augmentation device is worse than Beidou.

Galileo accuracy is 20cm, much worse than Beidou (BDS) 10cm accuracy.
Yes, its better than 30cm GPS, but definetly nothing compared with China Beidou (BDS)

You are referencing a old report. Studies on the internet show static accuracy with 5 mm .

But in this case quality over quantity trumps.
The atomic clocks being used in most Chinese satellites are made by European companies.
Chinese have recently copied a few clocks but you know never know with copies.

Even Long March 3B (CZ-3B) is not the biggest rocket China had. They have Long March 5 Rocket (CZ-5) that much bigger than this

you realize 10m accuracy is useless for most applications today?

10m is longer than the length of 2 cars together. Totally useless in car navigation!

I think the 10m is referring to Beidu2 not the final constellation which is 4 - 3 m probably lower than that if you take into account that they will probably built local augmentation networks and will finished this year.
And most civilians GNSS receiver will use multi constellations signals BEIDOU, GLONASS, GALILEO and GPS combine to archive sub-meter level accuracy. Don't worry to much about the accuracy of one constellation.

Interesting that the baidou 3 system has 4 satellites planned for GEO .
Most other systems have all satellites in meo.
Wonder whats the advantage of having gps satellites in GEO ?
