Chinese have armed Bengali F-7 jets with LS-6 Glide Bombs (Equivalent of REK used by JF-17 on 27th Feb)

I guess it can be a good option to arm our fleet of F-7PG with such bombs. Guess, our old PG with less Air to Air worth without BVR can be atleast a potent platform for AG if loaded with PGM GPS guided bombs

Doesnt make sense for PAF, our F-7PGs are not intended for strike role and are on the path for retirement.

Why not go for a Bison-type upgrade instead? For example upgrading the radar, integrating SD-10, HMD and a 5th-gen WVRAAM. Is it more expensive in the long run as compared to a new JF-17 Block-II?

.
PAF see's F-7Ps/PG's in interceptor role. Even though PG's have. an improved low level fight performance to avoid radars and strike. But F-7P's are not very good at it.

We already have LS-6 if i'm not mistaken. JF-17 is certified on it.

It's not a technical limit, F-7PGs do have some level of BVR capability and airframes have better performance than BISON. Since it's already slated for retirement, upgrading them now would not be feasible. Upgrading jets means re allocation of assets to pick slack while aircraft are being upgraded/ recertified as well as allocating financing. With PAC overloaded with work, better divert resources elsewhere.
Kind of like the decision on whether to keep fixing your old car or finally time to buy a new one. PAF chose it will buy new.

Bangladeshi F-7 would have been the correct term. You guys even call Bangladesh govt. as 'Bengali govt.' It sound very weird.
Some of us don't even know there are people in Bangladesh who are called Maulvi Bazari with intent.
However, calling out Bengalis is not deliberate, it's a general term used with some not realising that there are Bengalis in India as well.

some of these BAFf7 were inducted as late as 2012.if iam not wrong.so upgrading them may be feasible for them.not for us.

Same way you guys says joy Bangla while Joy Bangladesh make much more sense. BTW you have Bengali Language and also Bengalis as ethnicity So it could go either way but Urdu and Pakistani are not same entity as you can say for Bangla or Bangladesh.

.
says someone who literally went to war over language and ethnicity
Language issue resolved in 1954 when Bengali was declared one the official language. Thereafter there was no agitation for language. Ethnicity was also not a big issue. Whatever issue surrounding ethnicity was created by your people. Bengalis who used to go West Pakistan for any necessity, faced prejudice and hostility. Which gradually cemented mental distance.

And we did not go for war. War was imposed upon us by your genocidal military junta at the night of 25th March, 1971. We had no alternative other than to resist and counter attack by guerrilla means.
