Well, let me tell you again. sharif hayat shared it.

The man lives in the USA.

When Sharif shared it some others commented also they recieved similar mail from Zia.. That proves Sharif is not faking it.

Can it possibly be that he got trolled again? An army officer sending an email with sensitive information to some kid living in the USA? Do you seriously believe it has true or some lame trolling attempt?

he also sent this mail to news papers. Anyway so this mail is sent from Major zia's account to his contacts. Now mayb someone used his account to send this fake mail or Zia himself wrote this fake mail.

Huuurr...circular logic...

I'll wait tomorrow morning for my The Daily Star and Amader Shomoy for any news related to that.

Now let us assume Zia made a story! Question is why!

How do you know that this Maj. Zia is not some troll? Do you have any idea how many trolls there are on the Internet?

Now another source from army told that yes they were after a group who is trying to radicalize and islamize military..

My brother-in-law was in the army. I haven't seen a single proof that Bangladesh Army is getting radicalized. They do not have any history of supporting terrorism or getting into anti-Western sentiment.

When they asked Zia to report to hq he fled... now tell me which part seems wrong to you???

Sounds more like a cool story by some Tom Clancy wannabe

If you want to remain deaf i have nothing to say.. My head tells me there is certainly two group inside army.

There's always been politics in the army (which by the way isn't a good thing). But to an extent that compromises national security? They never did that. If they did, Bangladesh would be in civil war.

One believes in indian supremacy and co-operation and another antagonizes it. Now DGFI is controlled by first group. Later groups supplied arms to ULFA during last regime..

We never funded ULFA from our own pockets. Bangladesh was simply used as a transit for those arms. And that's it. There were far bigger players behind that. But, that's not the topic here.

What doesn't make sense was that they used interpreters.

Did you know that even in CIA, they require their operatives to know multiple languages including Arabic, Urdu, Russian, French, etc? Even in the US Military they need it.

If they were RAW officers, why would they use an interpreter? You do know that RAW is India's external intelligence arm?

Your friends are secret agents?

This Sharif only responded to it because he was naive?

An army officer sending sensitive information out in the public?

He was being interrogated and at the same time send an email?

Makes no sense

you missed the point. Bengali is second most spoken language in india, while no Bangladeshi speaks in tamil, telegu or burmese.

If bangladesh is such a police state, why you are not being abducted for discussing the topic in a Pakistan owned defence forum?

There will always be people like me who would try to safeguard the country from any Indian agression and Jamaati conspiracy. Both are enemies of Bangladesh.

Speaking purely from a strategic point of view, why do you have to consider the State of India as an enemy of your Nation State? Does your Armed Forces consider the same? Do they have evaluated the threat perception and trained for such?

If yes, where's the ORBAT? If no, then I must say either your current military posture is more than adequate or else, it is miraculous that Bangladesh still exists as a nation state and not as yet another Indian State.

It seems strange that this email was leaked widely but another email alleging massive corruption by the DG of DGFI has not received such wide attention. I have also not heard of this Sharif Hayat before. I have been in this business for quite a long time. He is someone I should have heard about before.

Sir, this Major Zia achieved Sword of honour as a cadet of 43rd BMA batch.... And he is missing. this above two lines are not false.. Many people from mist confirmed it.....

i disagree with u
western world will always against islam
crusades is still happening but silently
trust me

We do not need west's brotherly love. We want a share of their market where we will sell our goods, earn dollar and then invest this to build industries that will churn out more goods to be exported to the west and the world. West is doing exactly this to us. Now, if BD people turns Taliban, west will not support our economic activites.

I would still give you some points. To rephrase it, India does not want anymore BPL addition in its already teeming BPL population.

Get real. India is not an existential threat for Bangladesh for which BA requires to arm itself, at par with say the PA. If it were, either your Generals would have made contingencies or gone under any of the P5's security umbrella. Nothing less than that can stop an advancing Indian column. You either must buy/manufacture enough hardware, at par with the IA, to repulse an Indian column or just don't invite an IA column, its simple.

Grow up, you just don't have the required demography, geography, finance and training to play an equal. Do not delude yourself. Yes, Bangladesh is definitely on our active economic and security radar. Realistically, they are not a potential strategic/tactical adversary which warrants military interventions. You get it only when you invite it and to invite it, your tax payers must get ready to bleed a lot of their well earned fortunes to fight a wasteful and doomed military campaign.

There are 3 army officers missing as far as I know. It is possible that the information is correct but I would like to see the original email.
