Bangladesh and China signed Monday four agreements on military cooperation, aimed at improving professionalism and other capacities of Bangladesh armed forces.

The agreements were signed between the military officials of both the countries at a function at Dhaka Cantonment, according to a news agency.

Prime Minister’s security affairs advisers, Maj Gen (retd) Tarique Ahmed Siddique, chief of Army staff General Iqbal Karim Bhuiyan, chief of Naval staff Vice Admiral M Farid Habib, chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Muhammad Enamul Bari and Chinese military officers were present on the occasion.

Under the agreements, the Chinese military authorities will provide various supports to Bangladesh armed forces, including the training of military personnel, said a press release of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The Chinese military authorities will also give assistance for setting up a language lab at the Bangladesh University of Professionals.

Earlier, a discussion on bilateral issues between the Chinese delegation and the senior officials of armed forces of Bangladesh was held at the Cantonment.

At the discussion, Chinese military officers lauded the professionalism of the members of Bangladesh Armed Forces.

The Chinese delegation was led by its Central Military Commission chairman General Xu Qiliang.

Another example of war-mongering imperialistic hegemonic Bangladesh trying to bully peace-loving friendly India.
Every country including Bangladesh has right to strengthen it's Defence by increasing it's military capability.
