Phulbari upazila of Kurigram border gorakamandala naodanga Union attacked the house of a Bangladeshi Indian BSF camp in Narayanganj. At around two o'clock on Saturday night, they attacked across international borders. They are one of the rounds fired.

Four Bangladeshi young men were shot by Indian Border Security Force (BSF) members on Naudapara border in Roumari upazila on Monday night.

The victims were identified as Saju Miah, 18, Rokan Uddin, 22, Bablu Miah, 20, and Manik, 17.

BSF troops from Kuchnimari camp opened fire at a group of Bangladeshi men while they were trying to bring cattle through the border area around 11.30pm, leaving the four injured.

The injured were admitted to Rangpur Medical College Hospital.

What I got (the gist of it) was that several BSF soldiers crossed the international border to attack some Bangladesh guy's house inside Bangladesh territory and he escaped, dodging rubber bullets. This also caused mass panic in the area.

BSF commanders must reign in this sort of illegal terrorist behavior.

The primary cause seems to be financial (greed). There is money involved.

Apparently Bangladesh border postings are very lucrative for BSF jawans/commanders because of graft.

The same goes for BGB as well - not picking any sides here.

গতকালকে বেশ কয়েকটি নিউজে দেখলাম, বাংলাদেশের সীমান্তের ভিতরে প্রবেশ করে সীমান্তবর্তী মানুষের বাড়ি ঘরে হামলা চালায় ভারতীয় সীমান্ত রক্ষাকারী বাহিনি বিএসএফ । বেশ কয়েকটি বাড়িতে ঢুকে তারা বেশকিছু ঘর ভাংচুর করে ও বাড়ির লোকজনের উপর নির্যাতন করে । বাংলাদেশের প্রধান দৈনিক গুলো এই সংবাদকে চাপিয়ে গেছে জানিনা কার সার্থে কোন উদ্দেশ্যে !

ভারতীয় বিভিন্ন গনমাধ্যমে প্রায়ই বলতে শুনা যায়, ১৯৭১ সালে ভারত পাকিস্তানের মধ্যে যুদ্ধ বেধে বাংলাদেশ নামক এক নতুন দেশের সৃষ্টি হয় । মুলত তারা বাংলাদেশকে নতুন দেশ হিসেবে ঘোষণা দিলেও তাদের আকার ইঙ্গিতে বুঝা যায় তারা বাংলাদেশকে তাদের একটি প্রদেশ বা রাজ্য ভাবে ।

যেহেতু বাংলাদেশ ভারতের গনিমতের মাল, সেহেতু ভারতের ইচ্ছামতোই বাংলাদেশকে চলতে হবে । ভারতের ইচ্ছামতোই ভারত বাংলাদেশকে ব্যাবহার করবে । ইচ্ছা হলে খাওয়া দিবে ইচ্ছা না হলে না খাইয়ে মারবে। ইচ্ছা হলে নারীদের ধর্ষণ করবে আর ইচ্ছা হলে পুরুষদের হত্যা করবে । গত কয়েক বছরে তার বহু প্রমান ও মিলে ।

ট্রানজিট দখল, সুন্দরবন ধ্বংস করে রামপাল গঠন, পায়রা বন্দর দখল , ব্যাংক লুট করে নেওয়া, ভারত থেকে দিগুন সুদে ঋণ নেওয়া, স্বাধীনতায় হস্তক্ষেপ করা , বাংলাদেশের প্রতিটি ব্যাপারেই ভারতের অনৈতিক নাক গলানো, সীমান্তে প্রতিদিনই পাখির মতো গুলি করে বাংলাদেশীদের হত্যা এসব থেকে খুব সহজেই বুঝে নেওয়া যায় আমাদের এই দেশটা তাদের গনিমতের মাল ।

বাংলাদেশের উপর দিন দিন ভারতের অত্যাচার বেড়েই চলছে বর্তমান অবৈধ সরকারের সাহায্যে ও হস্তক্ষেপে । অথচ আমাদের বাংলাদেশীরা বোবা ঘুমে আচ্ছন্ন হয়ে আছে । ভারতের চ্যানেল নিয়ে বিনোদনে নিজেদের ব্যাস্ত রেখেছে । ক্রিকেট নিয়ে মেতে উঠছে দিনের পর দিন, মাসের পর মাস ও বছরের পর বছর । নেই কোন প্রতিবাদ নেই কোন প্রতিকার। বাংলাদেশের জনগনের এহেন কর্মকাণ্ডে বুঝা যায় তারাও ধরেই নিয়েছে আমরা ভারতের কাছে পরাধীন ও ভারতের গনিমতের মাল এই বাংলাদেশটা।

১৯৭১ সালের মুক্তিযুদ্ধে অংশ নেওয়া মুক্তিযোদ্ধারা এই দেশকে যুদ্ধ করে স্বাধীন করেছিলেন বর্তমান এই প্রজন্মকে একটি স্বাধীন দেশ উপহার দেবার জন্যে । আর আমরা সেই স্বাধীনতাকে রক্ষা করতে পারলাম না । স্বাধীনতাটাকে আমরা নিজ হেলায় পায়ে ঠেলে অন্যের দারস্ত করলাম । দেশের দিকে না তাকিয়ে দেশের দুর্দিনে আমরা আছি ক্রিকেট নামক এক মরিচিকার পিছনে সময় নষ্ট করতে । আমাদের এহেন কর্মকাণ্ডে আমরা পরবর্তী প্রজন্মকে এই দেশ আর উপহার দিতে পারবোনা, পরবর্তী প্রজন্ম পাবে শুধুই ক্রিকেট আর ক্রিকেট নামক মরিচিকা । পরবর্তী প্রজন্ম জানবে এই দেশ ভারতের গনিমতের মাল হিসেবে ১৯৭১ সালের যুদ্ধের উপহার ।

তাই বলে ক্রিকেটের বিরোধিতা করছিনা , তবে ক্রিকেটের আগে এই দেশটাকে বাঁচানো উচিত, কারন দেশ বাঁচলে ক্রিকেট ও বাঁচবে । যে জাতি বছরের ১১ মাস ক্রিকেট নামক মরিচিকার পিছনে দৌড়িয়ে নিজেদের অস্তিত্ব বিলীন করে দেয় সেই জাতির ধ্বংস অনিবার্য । আর সেই জাতিকে অন্য দেশের পরাধীন ও গনিমতের মাল হিসেবেই নির্যাতিত হওয়া উচিত ।
