Bangladeshi killing Saudi national beheaded

DHAKA: A Saudi Arabian national was beheaded on Thursday on charge of killing a Bangladeshi national in the kingdom.

The offender Sultan Al Sahli stabbed a Bangladeshi national repeatedly for hijacking.

An officer of Bangladesh embassy in Riyadh Thursday confirmed this to banglanews.

A total of 26 people were beheaded till May in Saudi Arabia in this year. The number was 76 in 2011.

Besides, International humanitarian organizations are still condemning of such punishment through beheading. But, the Saudi government has said that they are not thinking the alternative of Sharia law.
