Condemning the acts is just a gesture, it does not mean anything, when holey artisan took place in Bangladesh, they all condemned it and stood by us, silence in this area means you're looking the other way, as Muslim majority country, it's our duty to stand against this and prove that not all Muslims behead people for difference in views.



The fact that we Bangladeshis are even having this conversation instead of praising the attacks and justifying them, goes to show our tolerant and peaceful our ideology and interpretation of Islam is, the right Brand of Islam might I add.

I applaud Erdogan and IK for taken a verbal stance against Macron.

At the same time it will be largely inconsequential.

I can understand how Bangladesh may need to not say too much given its dependent economic position with the EU.

But as pragmatic as being "neutral" may be, insults against Islam or the Prophet can NOT be tolerated.

Similarly, there absolutely has to be condemnation and rectification of these acts of barbaric violence taken by "Muslims" against others.

It's a sh#tshow all around.
