To become upper middle class income country Bangladesh needs to protect her agriculture as it is one of the largest contributors to our GDP. We need to force India, with the help of China, to sign a permanent water sharing agreement with Bangladesh. We have to wait until a permanent agreement on water sharing is done before claiming to reach upper middle class income country level in 2041.

You should send warning letters to Indian leaders to tell them BD was a great agriculture country before Farakka was built. They should dismantle Farakka to flood BD with a two-head high of water before it goes down to the BoB.

This will recreate agriculture to a level when BD could not properly feed only 75 million people. Most of the paddy lands were under water and people starved.
