Hasina is just mad with power. Sanctions may come....slowly, given that things go her way. It is the poor and the weak middle-class that'll suffer the most.

The army wants to see if the protests can be sustained and further weaken the AL before they move. They will not move until all other options are exhausted.

btw what AL is doing is completely wrong.(wrt election and dealing with opposition) I agree with that. But BD politics is nasty and personal. What do you expect?

@aazidane U r being too pessimistic IMO bro. U do realise what happens if awami maggots get their way? No one is ready for either neo-bakshal or be another Bhutan or 29th state of India. All nations have to fight hardships and foreign invasion just like BD is fighting Indian invasion now. Did u expect anything else from Bakshali BAL and Hasina. Facism always goes down with a bang as history testifies. Yes they have got their way in destroying our country but Allah (swt) always test people and rewards those who r patient. There r positives in all these. We needed a whole revamp of the civil institutes and its better for dalals to be identified now, for the future of the country. BAL have commited political suicide and will suffer worse fate than Eastern block communist or Nazis/facist, Inshallah.

Btw this is a muslim majority country which is not meant to get things easy. Like all muslim majority states we r having our fair share of hardships.




Perfect way to sum things. We r being ruled by forgien agents who naturally have apathy to this country. SO destruction & loss of lives is something BAL leadership would always cherish.

It seems the Awami League government has total control over the police forces and the army also seems to be under the control of an external force. Awami League will manage this election and falsify turnouts of the upcoming elections. They seem to have pulled the biggest heist in Bangladesh history. At this rate the opposition will weaken or destroyed and the neo-baksal will be established. India has infiltrated each and every sector of Bangladesh and we seem to have no sovereignty, this government does not even care about what EU, US or UN thinks or wants.

I believe an economic sanction may come, but not counting on it.

The nationalist forces are not defeated..... They would not be as long as BD has a Muslim majority. BAL scums whom I know a lot and some are even family has started to move money and family for the last 6 months and it's accelerated in the last few weeks. The are not sure if BKSHAL govt will survive long post election.

Like rats they are looking for a way out of a potential sinking ship.

The restaurants started by BDs are called indian because of historical reasons.... When the first generation BDs arrived it was still British Raj era..... It has little relevance to the tread of the discussion

Bangladeshi's in the UK or anywhere else in the world do not talk about Indians as we have nothing to talk about regarding them. The Bangladeshi restaurateurs are among the most successful businessmen in the UK, contributing around 4bn to the UK economy.

I've never ever met Indians that were so interested in our countries affairs, or what's going on in our country. Most of them, if not all, do not even know what a Bangladeshi looks like, or where Bangladesh is situated on the map.

But damn this forum...It's a different story.

Use the brain, it's easier to sense. You know about Indian Subcontinent...these restaurants refer to that not any particular country...now don't tell Bangladesh isn't part of subcontinent.
