**** that... grow a spine and take actions or else no one will come to your cause... enough of this friendship to all policyBangladesh FM accuse Myanmar of lying and deceiving on Rohingya issue. And warn that failure to repatriate them may lead to increasing risk of terrorism in the region.
This "Love to all, commitment to none " foreign policy should be effed for good. -_-
True that. EU & USA should be persuaded as serious political alliance.BAF needs attention immediately.
And it must address its political isolation on the Rohingya.
The only way I can see is to turn to the US.
Which means shelving it’s so called “no commitment” policy.
True that. EU & USA should be persuaded as serious political alliance.
On breaking USA just promised to increase security assistance to BD. They will also help us develop our own UCAVS. A proposal on the matter were sent to Congress for approval.
US knows a short term military conflict is the only solution to solving rohynga crisis and that’s why it asked Bangladesh to buy arms from it, especially knowing its more than likely the conflict is going to not be short and woeful state of its air force.
Bangladesh should cut the crap of let’s smoke a joint together and should ditch the give us a good discount mentality, got the money now to buy some decent things, use it or else one day will come when this money will be anyone’s to take
LOL love the desperation. Will be even more fun to see you lot when absolute zilch happens...and what you are is proven to everyone yet again.
BD Tears...so funny.
@Aung Zaya
What exactly is wrong with you?
Apart from BAF, probably because of US sanctions on Russia and Chinese support of Myanmar, the other two services are being armed up nicely.
BN now has no less than 4 modern Type-56 corvettes, the large Ulsan class frigate and two modernised Type-035G submarines. MN will be slaughtered in any conflict with BN. BA is also being armed nicely and it is also ordering multiple large landing craft that can embark troops and tanks for operations, like landing on nearby countries.
Now get out of this fantasy that BD is not preparing to take out the savages in a short-sharp war while daddy China watches the show for fun.
BD is not too stupid to risk it's economy hastily for what are bunch of uncivilised savages. The time and place will come.
I'm not saying that Bangaldesh WILL deal with Myanmar in a military conflict.
I am saying Bangladesh SHOULD be prepared if such a day were ever to come.
Also let @Nilgiri bark.
It's actually really entertaining.
LOL ok, just going with the track record BD has with the US (and west) for much simpler things:

Topcat was promising arakan intervention in 2018 itself...because of some US senate commitee talking about the situation in their typical blah blah (back in 2017).
Its 2019 now....I guess that means its on track for potentially exploring again come 2030? I mean those fridges from 2010 never showed up....any time now though I suppose!
We're all living room generals and strategists here.
Also I dont have the time or attention span to type out my complete thoughts regarding this.
But I will attempt to put together some sort of post at a later time.
The one thing i will say here is ultimately no one of significance cares about the Rohingya.
And no one cares about Bangladesh.
But Bangladesh has to accurately navigate this to protect her interests.
Hopefully more specific thoughts later.
