Bangladesh film Industry had a golden time in 70's and 80's but mid 90's to early 2000's were the worst. Most Bengali films are C grade films but now some cinema lover educated youths are trying to revive the industry by making at least decent movie to watch. I will post film posters and trailers in the thread.

Actually there are very few Bangla films to watch. Most are utterly crap. Recent movies suck except 1 or 2 but if you really want to watch Bangla films I would recommend films which are made in 70's and 80's. I can't even give a list of good recent Bangla films since they are very few.

BD has arty films but those look telefilm , not film.

Have you seen Moner Manush? Its a good Bangla arty film. Its based on Fakir Lalon Shah, a famous poet and folk singer in then East Bengal / Bangladesh. Its produced jointly by Bangladesh and India. This is the first film which released simultaneously in both countries.
