Star Online Report

Bangladesh has expressed deep concern over the secret drone attacks on the oil pumping stations in Saudi Arabian Eastern Province.

It also termed the news of attacks on the Saudi Arabian and Emirati oil tankers in the UAE territory as disconcerting, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Bangladesh is of the view that such unprovoked acts will have an adverse impact on the overall security situation in the Gulf region, the statement read.

Denouncing such unilateral act of provocation, Bangladesh said it remains steadfastly committed to maintenance of peace and security and supports any collective effort that would maintain peace and stability in the region, it added.

That's nothing. They think they have or should have a strong alliance with Russia, China, Turkey and themselves and take the fight to the global hegemons. There is a possibility of such alliance between countries like Russia and China but nobody even spoke about that country being part of it, they uninvited and irrelevant try to sneak in and boast about it. Their delusion is almost clown level, very entertaining but irritating too.

Actually there is a point there.

China needs Pakistan for 2 main reasons:

1. For road, rail and energy connectivity to Arabian Sea - CPEC. CPEC also has had the added benefit of stopping Pakistan from going into outright recession right now.

2. To contain India - Pakistan taught India a very painful lesson on 27th of February this year

Pakistan is doing it's bit for China by keeping India tied down to S Asia and so it can focus on US/Japan and Vietnam in E Asia.

Nope, just because a great power uses a vassal to do some of it's bidding does not mean the vassal itself is part of the elite club of alliance. Try to see properly what they boast about and what the reality is.

Still does not stop them being a key part of China- Russia plan.

I am not talking about anything else they boast about but they are important in the plan of China-Russia to take on the Western led alliance.

They are NOT. Neither are the Burmese where Chinese are going to build ports.

Please try to look at this from a neutral perspective.

You can say what you like about Pakistan but militarily they are the most powerful Muslim country in the world, when you count their nuclear weapons and means to deliver all over South Asia and the ME.

Before 27th of February this year, everyone thought that Pakistan would be a walkover by India conventionally. PAF totally dominated the IAF and could have killed the IA's top commander if they wanted tio . PAF simply showed the IAF as a bunch of amateurs.

A country like them that can go head to head to India militarily makes them pretty important to China.

Right, India as a responsible power and concerned with economic growth, do not want to escalate things with Pakistan to a critical level. Otherwise such boasting would have sound hollow. World has seen their calibre against India in real war like those in 1971, 1965 or in Kargil. They managed to loose the war even when they had a realistic chance to win, now that good, old days are long gone.

Apna waqt aiga.

What's that? Speak English?

27th Feb was a short skirmish and Pakistan won the day. But any full fledged conflict, they have no chance against the behemoth India except for using the nukes.

India did not escalate as they realised conventionally Pakistan could match them now.

Remember that back in 1999 Pakistan and India fought a war for 2 months over Kargil and India was growing then as now.

PAF dominated IAF in February 27th this year because it had access to BVR missiles from both China and USA that it did not back in 1999.
