Spot on. Bunch of serial losers. Their final is the Pak match. Really sad.lol couldn't even qualify for semis, but still, have the nerve to challenge Pakistan? I mean for them beating Pakistan would be equivalent of winning the World Cup? I mean the coach is just doing facesaving by making such bold statements. The fact is Pakistan have won WC, have been a finalist of 1999, and have qualified many many times into semis but for Bangladesh, they still have to qualify for semis at-least once.
Moreover, Pakistan is certainly not the best side in this tournament and comparing your self to Pakistan itself is a ridiculous statement which reflects their inferiority complex.
Pak played 4 ODI against Bangladesh since last world cup, all four were won by Bangladesh including 1 where they knocked out Pak in Asia Cup last yearlol couldn't even qualify for semis, but still, have the nerve to challenge Pakistan? Im pretty sure a more recent record is more relevant than the entire history, our team dont have any match winners anymore, half of Bangladesh team have experience players who cant be taken lightly, not sure about the result in the end, but i can say Pak will have to leave it all out in the field to get through this matchPakistan has played a total of 36 ODI with Bangladesh. 31 were won by Pakistan and 5 are won by Bangladesh.
Thank you!
So why such dumb specific statements by their coach?? It proves their inferiority complex, even though their record is reasonable. They need to realise there are other teams in the world that are of importance, and actually prepare for and try to win those matches. They are yet to mature mentally in the cricketing fraternity.Pak played 4 ODI against Bangladesh since last world cup, all four were won by Bangladesh including 1 where they knocked out Pak in Asia Cup last year
from the part i saw, a journalist asked him.a stupid question of Pak relying on other teams to win and Pak will rely on Bangladesh, the coach didnt say anythinh immature or stupid, are you mislead by the video title itself? or which part do u think he said is immature? So why such dumb specific statements by their coach?? From 3:15 until about 4:00 he has a grin on his face and speaks particularly about not wanting to leave the tournament with a defeat AGAINST PAKISTAN. perhaps I am reading too much into it, but it is equally possible that he is suggesting that a defeat to Pak in particular would be more hurtful than against other teams. If you have followed bd cricket since its inception, you would likely share my interpretation. Clearly the whole camp subscribes to this philosophy, not just the native deshis.from the part i saw, a journalist asked him.a stupid question of Pak relying on other teams to win and Pak will rely on Bangladesh, the coach didnt say anythinh immature or stupid, are you mislead by the video title itself? or which part do u think he said is immature?
Ok so why does he wish to not leave the world cup having lost to Pakistan? He didn't say he doesn't want to end on a loss....but he was repeatedly specific in saying "loss to Pakistan". Before that, he mentioned we wish to reverse the Asia cup defeat....like that has any bearing other than in his mind??Have we qualified yet? It's just a challenge... relax. And Bangladesh team is pretty good. I don't know why we are being so arrogant, if we lose, everyone here will go silent and not bother to comment like always. The comment is much more civil than what Afghanistan said, challenging is a thing in sports. People getting upset for no reason.
Here's what he said:
"The Pakistan game, I am really looking forward to... They have come into form... Very professional... We will fight really hard"
He was very respectful, and professional.
Time stamp is 2:50.
But you guys have a very sensitive nerve upon just hearing the word Bangladesh it seems. Perhaps you are the ones in the inferiority complex.
You didn't see the video. Simple as that.
Only serial sore loser here is you.

You maybe need to watch the video again.
Seriously? Your that offended by my comments that you resort to a "they're not but you are!" personal attack? I'm rather flattered. I think that's my first one... always thought it would come from a saffron rider though, not a fish lover.
