Hisar-O will be operational by 2021/22 bro. It is not ready for export yet.
OK. The news is false then.
2021/2022 is only three years away if Turkish company comply with their expected deadline we can get it after that. Bangladesh is modernising it's air defence capabilities through NATO standard equipment, Turkish system fell on to this criteria as Bangladesh decline to take Russian pachora 2m system due incompabily with NATO standard system we are buying.Hisar-O will be operational by 2021/22 bro. If the news is true technically we are already in 2020 less then 4 months so we may get it within 2.5 yearsOnly three years?! Only?! You think three years are not that long? So army selected HISAR-O and decided that it will sit duck without medium range air defense coverage for three years while Myanmar build up it's military strength? Even if it enter in service the manufacture will be busy with local orders for one or two years. So our army have to wait 4/5 years. And this system isn't even proven and haven't seen any export success. Why would army make such decision? Remember when army issued tender?
It's maintained by SAK.

can't remember when Bangladesh started seeking MRSAM but recent acquisition were western like Thales ground maser radar GDF-009 with skyguard radar inducted by 2020 . Myanmar military buildup is concerning but not threatening as we are much more better trained professional arm forces compare to those monkey .
You have to get away from this "we are professionally trained and they are not" propaganda and arguments.
Don't take your potential enemy lightly.
The fact is the Bangladeshi armed forces have a deficit in hardware, especially the Air Force.
Also, this news sounds false.
But it is true.
You seriously think that the "rag-tag" Barman infantry would have any chance against the highly trained and well-led BD infantry? I will tell you it will be a one way slaughter for sure.
For sure the Barmans have an advantage in the air but BD procuring 1-2 squadrons of 4+ gen fighters would negate that instantly.
Fundamentally BD military is far superior than the "rag-tag" militia next door that calls itself a military.
@Avicenna is not talking about Miyanmer I believe .
