Bangladesh And Turkey signed a $1 billion arms deal on June 29, 2021. The deal includes TRG-300 GMLRS, Atmaca AShM and SAM but there could be more in this deal.

Translation : Deal signed with Turkey for defence products worth 1B USD. No pre-conditions were set by Turkey. In addition to this, their defence products were affordable.

Relevant sources have said, that Air Defence system, Anti-ship missiles and guided missile systems have been procured from Turkey.
C-130 from Britain , Grop trainers from Germany and MoU with France.

The deal was signed on June 2021. And we know about it now?

NDA, so obviously officially it won't be announced. Wonder if they'll announce it during Erdogan's visit or not. There were lots of media coverage since June but nobody actually gave details about the deal. Only this much info we got in November and December. So best not to expect big announcement on anything. Even this info i got by pure luck. Turkish ambassador also indicated recently that some projects are in the pipeline and few agreements have been signed.

If ATMACA ASM will be integrated into Bangladesh navy ships, some navionic modernizations may also be involved in these ships.

Atmaca will come with two ASuW LPCs.

"December 2021 sector exports to Bangladesh amounted to 35 million 152 thousand dollars . A total of 97 million 741 thousand dollars were exported to Bangladesh by the sector in 2021...."

so,its quite evident that bangladesh army ordered hisar/khan missile system or TB-2 drones!!

ignore his voice ..but everythng he said made sense...

. .
agree with the part about Turkish weapons but when and why did we order Pantsir?
I have the same ques :D probably for rooppur nuclear power plant..probably it was in the agreement that we have to buy a Russian sam for the protection of Russian built power plant..though buks would be better...

yea but burmese use the pantsir plus look at the Libyan performance

overall the Bodor Uddin guy puts out some good content (better research than DEFSECA and DUB). He predicted Rafale from day one of MRCA funding request see his old videos from 2 years ago , many ppl made fun of him inclding me.
However he is a big simp for french weapons and he thinks they are second best after USA.

there could be more in this deal.
TB-2 drones may also be part of this deal. Didn't the PM say that we bought 6 attack drones a few months back ?

correct 6 medium UAV bought with tactical missile system, most probably the Bora since the TRG-300 was mentioned separately.

Atmaca will come with two ASuW LPCs.
Are we getting Ada Class or a customised ship for this role ?
there was some article about Ada class being shortlisted
ADA Sınıfı Korvet ve ATMACA Bangladeş’te kısa listeye girdi (savunmasanayist.com)
