Bangabandhu’s self-confessed killer Abdul Majed arrested

.
Why do we even have a Bangladesh Defence section in first place when have better section contenders like EU, US for country watch.

Alhamdullilah we are unlike others, more tolerant and brave! Our hearts are more open and our youth is brighter and has awareness. We know how to be patient in hard times and how to move forward and cope up with modern world :)

Nothing against a common Bengali here, there should be a review, what +ive was got from any section(not just Bangladesh). In my view Bangladeshi are too self-intrinsic , nothing bad about it but it just means they have a very limited clout to have country-watch section..
But howcome we dont have sections for US or EU is my question? when we have active member from both continents.

@WebMaster , @waz - Is it acceptable to celebrate the murder of the founding father of a nation? If not, then it is time you law down the law and strive to make this forum a better place. Many Pakistanis are celebrating a murder.

Gandhi says Hello

what +ive was got from any section(not just Bangladesh).

humor

sometimes that's enough

Mate...My request is to stay out of these BD complain in PDF...These guys are more hypocrite than Pakistan friends...Do not need to take their side complain to mod..

This self confessed killer of our father of nation must be executed as soon as possible. This should be the justice.

@Slav Defence, is defaming the father of nation of Bangladesh, justifying his murder as necessary act going to be helpful for the relationship between Bangladesh and Pakistan? Or at least is it going to give us a forum atmosphere for fruitful discussion that all of us desire?

I will leave this matter to you.

Thanks and regards.

I hope just as this justice will be served the poor man not related to hasina will also get justice and that to if it takes 40 years and a pre dawn raid.

Why should we not be allowed to talk about Sheikh Mujiber Rehman? Nobody is celebrating his murder? Bangladeshi army slaughtered him and his whole family members. People are making points that he had links with RAW and this is why army and intelligence people killed him. The people who killed him were Bangali, they are not Pakistani.

Well a lot of excesses were also made by Mujib's cohorts - which Mujib wasn't even aware of. Things such as forming a private elite armed unit (Rakhhi Bahini) outside of the purview of the commissioned armed forces command - which was obedient only to Sheikh Mujib and his sons, DID NOT sit well with the Army (nor the general populace and the bureaucracy, even after politicization of the latter).

The idea in the army to finish off Mujib's family started at the inception of this elite armed unit, formed without consent of the regular armed forces, and under the purview, training and guidance of RAW. If Hasina does not stop some of her excesses, she will face the same fate, although she has tried hard enough to politicize the armed forces herself.

Mujib's sons (Captain Sheikh Kamal, Lieutenant Sheikh Jamal) were made lynchpins and top echelon leaders of the Rakkhi Bahini central command, and combined with the fact that these two sons were involved in robbing banks in broad daylight with no resistance from anyone and picking up and raping army senior officers' wives (being the goondas that they were) - sealed the whole family's fate.

In Sura Al Baqara v.90. وان الله لا يحب المعتدين. "Allah does not like those who transgress".

Thanks for the information brother. I never heard of Rakhhi Bahini, will do some reading on them. I heard of the Mukhti Bahini as one of my relative was in the army when the war took place, he was arrested and kept as prisoner of war. He has a different story, he claims of heavy RAW involvement and Indian army posing as liberation fighters(call them mercenaries if you like). He said it was a sad event, because at the end of the day the Bangladeshi people were our own brothers and sisters, we fought side by side to get independent from the British and stood against the rising barat nationalism. The Bangali people sacrificed alot and worked hard to make independent Pakistan(1947). The kick off between PPP and AML was a big problem. These 2 parties over power caused all the trouble.

Bengalis themselves decided to end the validity of a ruler who sold out his own country. There may be some who will debate it in Bangladesh - but outsiders are better off not to debate it when majority Bangladeshis are unanimous in their approval.

We don't comment on how other leaders in other countries got gunned down by their own guards.

It had to be done somehow - probably not ideal how it happened, but it had to be done. The nation's interest and those of the Bangladeshi people rise far above an individual's sad and incompetent legacy of cowtowing to Indian interests. This has happened before in Bangladesh many, many times and it is also sanctioned by Islam for unjust rulers.

Hasina will meet the same fate if she is not careful. Better she step down peacefully when the time comes.

You do not represent the will of Bangladeshi people, jamaati. In fact, quite the opposite. Your people are called traitors to Bangladesh.

I told you all to move forward. Please keep that in mind.

The only way for Pakistan and Bangladesh to move forward is for our 2 nations and people to take some steps towards each other and sort of this mess, stop the blame game and the RAW sponsored propaganda. Follow Islamic way of forgiveness and move towards brotherhood.

If any Pakistani military officer is found guilty of killings then he should be punished by the law, the same way Bangladeshi people need to punish those who collaborated with RAW and killed Bangalis to cause a civil war.

We cannot do that as long as Bangladeshi pro Indian leadership keeps on bashing Pakistan and its army. I dont see any reason why we should not be allowed to give a reply. Just because we have differences with Sheikh Mujiber Rehman action does not mean we are against Bangladeshi people. We have 100s of traitor leaders in Pakistan, people who would sell their nation and secrets for power.
