QUETTA - Balochistan Home Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti said on Tuesday that the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) should be labeled a terrorist organisation and banned.
Addressing a press conference in Quetta, he said he always used to say that RAW was involved in the deterioration of law and order in the province. He said the BBC report on MQM had verified his claims.
Sarfraz said Indian intelligence the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) was sabotaging peace in his province. The minister also claimed that MQM was involved in sabotage activities not only in Karachi, but across Pakistan.
The minister informed media persons about anti-terrorist operation carried out by security forces in different areas of Balochistan.
Giving details regarding ongoing anti-terrorism actions, Sarfraz said heavy weapons including hundreds of rocket launchers, 9mm pistols, rifles, Kalashnikovs and thousands of bullets had been recovered during raids in Qilla Abdullah, Qilla Saifullah, Khanozai, Dera Murad Jamali and Bolan. He said four terrorists including an important commander were killed while three were arrested.
The minister said ant-terrorism operation will continue till elimination of last terrorist.
Meanwhile, the death toll in fighting between two banned organizations in Pir Soori Darbar area of Dera Bugti on late Monday night rose to 25. Sarfraz said the clash site was in a far-flung area; accordingly, the security forces were dispatched towards the site.”We will launch an operation in the area,” he added.
Responding to a query, the home minister said no innocent life was lost in the clash, as terrorists were engaged in fight against each others. Both the outlawed organizations are funded by India’s intelligence agency RAW, he remarked.

If BBC had published such a documentary with proofs, that an Indian Political Party has been taking funding from Pakistani ISI, what would have happened? That party would have easily be banned immediately, leaders thrown in jail and a massive crack down against its offices would have already started.

But here, we are Pakistanis. Still mum on the issue, Information Minister still doesn't have sufficient information about this issue.. :hitwall:

Point is, at least we'd have seem some sort of action against them. But here, like I've said earlier, the Information Minister said not much information is available as of yet to take any action against MQM..

What happening against them is Called Victimization and that too after Openly saying they dont Accept Indian Control of Kashmir but here MQM is ALLEGED in everything so Innocent until Proven Guilty.

Banning wouldn't work.. change its leadership who's patriotic, clean and development centric. Mustafa Kamal would be a good candidate for that.

Good its about time we put a stop to them.

Btw, I never understood why our people make pretty patterns of captured weapons and ammunition. It makes it look staged and we don't need people questioning our hard work.
