why they call it Bakra Eid lol you can do qurbani of bull, cow, camel, goat etc

cannot post his pics as our bakra is still in bakra mundi

I paid 80 pounds to the local Butcher,who will do the Qurbani of a Sheep in the local slaughterhouse and i will go and collect the meat...
Not much fun...But all this health and safety+animal rights regulations have to be abide by...

Btw....It used to be "Baqarah Eid" ..Baqarah is cow in arabic..
when cows were cheap...people used to slaughter cows..
Now its "Bakra Eid" ..because people can only afford Bakra.... as in Goat.

But on serious note 80 pound is quiet cheap..you cannot get sheep in pakistan for this price

yes thats the big problem...No point in sacrificing larger animal as meat cannot be distributed..I expect something like 18 Kg of meat..which i will freeze for my own consumption

lol lo ji asi qurbani tu hum har month mein kartey hein i mean we get whole lame from butcher for ourselves

Is it not better to ask someone in Pakistan to do qurbani on your behalf ? : )

Good post... and yes I am paying £120 for 1 baqrah... You got cheaper

Usually my family sacrifice an animal in Pakistan... I am doing it for the first time in life
