They are buying K-8 because F-7 production no more continued. BAF is too fond of F-7 .. K-8 is the hangover of F-7.

If that were the case they would have bought the JL-9 which is a LIFT aircraft based on the J-7/F-7.

K-8 has no relation to J-7/F-7.

I believe it will take many centuries when BD people will be able to design and build machines same as Indians do. Indians love to dirt their hands, we do not. So, please start with designing and producing sewing machines, needles and nails before you guys talk of big things. sometimes, you guys forget that BD is just another LDC now floating on textiles and manpower export.

Why are you such a blind not to see the level of India's industrial development? India is already two hundred years ahead of us. This is why Indian TATA is coming to BD and not the UKBengali Company from your Shonar Bangla going to India. How can you expect BD to surpass India when Indians can build their own long bridges, barrages, dams, chemical factories, steel mills, tunnels, power stations, railway coaches, goods trains and hundred others, whereas blind Shonar Bangla people like you cannot do anything.

At least produce steel NAILS in BD that do not bend at the first strike of a hammer and talk big, you disillusioned stupid and then compare with India. BD imports all its good quality nails from China and India. With this level of industrial macho and your kind of COHERENT genius there is no doubt BD will surpass India and will become a developed country by 2041 or before.

My opinion on this case,

Will it be logical to bought so many advanced trainer who can be converted into dual roles as light attack aircraft without adding much basic trainer at all and creating new basic training squadrons in the first place?

The guess is, they just adding new squadrons which hold light attack roles, recon platform and aerobatic roles.
