BAF Air Defence Exercise held

A day-long Air Defence Exercise titled ‘MINIEX 2012-1’ of Bangladesh Air Force began at the BAF Base Kurmitola, Zahurul Haque and Birshreshtho Matiur Rahman on Monday, says a press release.

The aim of this exercise is to test present Air Defence Capability while defending Dhaka City. Different types of BAF fighter aircraft and Radar Squadrons of different Bases are participating in the exercise. Beside this, 301 SAM Unit (Surface to Air Missile Unit) of Bangladesh Air Force has participated in the exercise
