I think the problem is even if Iran "comes to our side", you never know what they are doing behind your back, and when they will backstab you. Their mindset is that of a cult, and everything outside their cult is seen as the enemy. Even Malaysia experienced this. In the beginning, Malaysia wanted brotherly relations and did anything possible to build a friendship. Then they realized that the Iranians were giving young Malays "scholarships", brainwashing them into their cult and building cult masjids inside Malaysia. They managed to do this to a few hundred Malay kids before the government put an end to it - and pushed Iran aside. Iranians have done the same elsewhere.

Minorities always tend to do that for protection and promotion of their ideology. They always want to convert people to their side.

so Armenia is losing?

It's hard to say who's winning and losing, simply because there isn't enough clear independent information out there.

While Azerbaijan has recovered a lot of land, things seem to be getting more difficult and slow, due to the region's mountainous nature. The Armanians are dug in, and so as long as they can maintain their defense, and keep a good chunk of the territory out of Azeri hands, they can declare victory.

Right now? Azerbaijan seems to be achieving its battlefield objectives, but no one knows how long that will last. However, the longer the war drags on, the better position the Azeris will be in, as Armenia does not have the economy, nor the military manpower to keep up with Azerbaijan. With Turkey completely siding with Azerbaijan, and Russia reluctant to help Armenia overty, Armenia is not in a good position.

Only time will tell who's the clear victor.

In response to their worst Azeris should make all churches into mosques or make toilets in their churches. Europeans have done this to thousands of mosques and we should pay them in full.

Not sure why they need to treat a PoW with such harshness. What's he going to do, escape? or detonate an explosive belt? They should show come class and dignity, especially in front of a camera as this could (and probably already has) prove counterproductive on Azeri PoWs caught by Armenians.

Yes. In an “ideal world” it shouldn’t be like this! But, if you put 100Ks of common folks massacred in genocide, 1m being forced to be refugees etc. than the equation holds....

Militarily and alliance wise they are tied to Turkey and will fight side by side with them due to cultural, language and blood ties and it's not so difficult to understand. Despite looking more Chinese they don't have blood ties, cultural or language ties. The Turks are their brothers
