1. A person is presumed to be innocent, until proven guilty.
2. The burden of proof, lies on the claimant.

I have found that the concept 'Innocent until proven guilty' barely works in Pakistan as many already presumed the accused party to be guilty just by generalization [at first]. It is Pakistan, and that kind of concept might not fly in Pakistan i am afraid.

Was this supposed to be in support of IK or against? I think the arguments in this are in support of IK as you are equating Gulalai's accusation to that of politician's, such as Sheikh Rasheed, Tahrul Qadri,Babar Awan, Farok Sattar etc. whose stances against others are not genuine or on merit, but are based on selfish interests, poltical point scoring and personal vendettas ... for which they will stoop to any level.

LAHORE: Last year, PTI’s, Ayesha Khan Gulalai, accused her party chairman Imran Khan of harassment and inappropriate behaviour. While many supported Gulalai and demanded a inquiry into the matter, few called it a politically-calculated move. Adamant to prove the veracity of her claims, Gulalai refused to resign from both the PTI and her seat in the National Assembly. Now the PTI member is about to launch her own political group, under the name PTI-G.

With this, the MNA has politicised the whole issue of harassment claims against a figure relatively more powerful and resourceful compared to her. Moreover, amid all this, the real matter has been left behind, as more than anything Gulalai’s struggle to bring her alleged harasser to justice has gradually transformed into a pitch to launch her own party yet with the same name given to the real PTI by the alleged accused.
