Firstly, this guy managed to hunt down and kill Osama bin Laden, he was not just a fleeing terrorist.
Secondly, A big problem that we have in our country is that thanks to a certain group of our media a certain group of people have developed the mentality that there's nothing our enemies can do that can get us into trouble, and you can see this in all of their analysis.

I jest because I am not very knowledgeable about this "Ayatollah Mike" character. I hope you don't think my comment was any "analysis".

If it's someone I know of, like Mattis... that's when I understand the person and the implications of their appointment.

Just reading off the basic info provided by the article, as @Arminkh said, catching Bin Laden and ordering some drone strikes over a country that willingly lets you do it isn't a great resume for someone who wants to supervise CIA activities inside Iran. It is not a permissive environment and certainly isn't as simple as going after a well known high profile target.

I agree with Cthulhu, I hope Iran's Intelligence will take this seriously. D'andrea and Pompeo along with that bastard Hannah from the FDD group is a bad mix for us. We need a counter force policy in place immediately. I would assemble a team to study this guy's tactics. He would undoubtedly increase electronic and humnit surveillance and put together a hit list. Trump has already greenlighted any operation against Iran with KSA and GCC. Qatar is a first to feel the pain. Then the friendly EU countries and companies. This will probably include airstrikes against our assets in Syria. They may even provoke us in the Persian Gulf so they can open fire on our ships. They're fucking idiots.....as usual, just when Iran was moderating and making overtures to the West. With their actions, they will drive the populace into the arms of the hardliners yet again. Thanks CIA, Mossad, MI6 and the rest of you fucking numbskulls who are clueless about our region.
