Aware me on Gun ownership policy in Pakistan

So shooting is an interesting hobby. I've been with a friend and shot an SKS rifle, AR-15, Mossberg, Sig Sauer, 1911 and a Ruger 10-22.

Supposing I wanted to buy a gun in Pakistan. How complicated is the process?

In Canada it's a right mess, there's expensive licenses, different ones for rifles and handguns. It's illegal to carry guns in your car to go anywhere other than.a gun range.

As in stopping at a coffee shop on your way home is a federal offense lol.

It's also illegal to shoot outdoors. So target practice on your own property is also a federal offense lol.

You can.basically only shoot at a range, and as you can imagine, memberships are extremely expensive.

Not to mention fully automatic firearms are banned, and rifle magazines are limited to 5 rounds. So firing an AR-15 is a chore.

I've heard say that decent replicas can be had in Peshawar, though I've never been to the gun bazaar. I've seen the vice documentary though.

My shooter of choice would likely be a Mosin, eventually I'd like a Barret .50 cal though. I mean who wouldn't?

We have the prohibited and non prohibited bore licenses. You can easily get a 9mm license but for PB you'd need a ministerial approval. Yes the assault weapons are extremely expensive.

Thats the legal way.
And then there is the regular way where you can order any weapon from a middle man who will bring it from Darra Adam Khel.And if you plan on living in KPK then you might as well own a T-72 and no body give a F**k.

What about gun ownership for foreigners ? And is illegal gun ownership a major criminal offence (meaning if you get caught how much trouble will you be in ) ?
