AVIC delivered 200 helicopters to China's armed force last year

Cai Yi, the general manager of AVIC's helicopter division told the news reporter that AVIC has delivered around 200 helicopters to China's PLA and armed police force in 2012.

Cai first review the development of their division during the last 10 years, he cited the fact nowadays AVIC delivered 10X more helicopters to PLA comparing to that of 10 years ago, the investment also increased by a order of magnitude.

AVIC's helicopter divison has never been so strong, however, Cai emphasis the next 5 years is the critical stage of AVIC's helicopter divsion, the demand is very high whilst the supply is not sufficient, they have to work the best to develop new products whilst expanding the manufacturing capacity of existing products to meet the ever-growing demands of the custmer.

AVIC is the main provider of aviation products for PLAAF/PLA, and currently its ranked 212 among latest Fortune global 500.
