MELBOURNE: In a bid to tap growing business relations with India, Australia's Victoria province will send a Super Trade Mission from next week to several cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai.
The mission would focus on key areas of education, health and aged care, ICT, sustainability (including sustainable urban design, cleantech and water) and tourism.
It will travel to different cities across India including Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Chennai and Trivandrum.
"This mission will build on nine previous trade missions to India since December 2010, including Super Trade Missions in February 2012 and March 2013, that have combined generated anticipated export sales of approximately 640 million dollars," according to an official statement.
Organisations participating in the mission would gain a first-hand understanding of doing business in India, showcase their products and services and forge valuable connections with potential qualified customers, business partners and investors.
