Pakistan's Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and mixed doubles partner Yaroslava Shvedova ofKazakhstan marched into the Australian Open second roundafter a convincing 6-4, 7-6 win over local pair of Luke Saville and Daria Gavrilova on Saturday.Aisam, who along with partnerJonathan Marray of Britain had crashed out of the men's doubles event in the first round on Thursday, had a better day at the office with Shvedoa as the pair used all their experience to defeat theirmuch younger opponents in 77 minutes.The Pakistani-Kazakh pair won73% of their first serve points and at times proved physicallystronger than Saville and Gavrilova.Aisam and Shvedova will now take on the pair of Sania Mirzaof India and Crotia's Ivan Dodig in the second round.
