Australia to train Pakistani forces
LAHORE: Australia has offered to train Pakistani security forces in anti-terrorism tactics, a private television channel reported on Monday. The channel quoted sources in the Defence Ministry as saying that Pakistan had accepted the Australian offer. The channel said that Pakistan had also requested Australia to provide latest security equipment to its forces. Officials told the channel that a formal agreement to this effect would be signed between the two countries in the next two months. daily times monitor

old news sir.

LOL, they can only teach to fight 'terrorism' while they themselves arent capable of eliminating it. Just a part of massive propaganda to reduce Pakistan army's reputation.

We have more experience in fighting terrorism ourselves,we just need lastest equipment from them.

pakistan's army can eliminate terrorism by themselves they dont have to be trained to other forces

What a Joke, I would like to know what experience they have in fighting against the terrorits.

cool guys why all of you angry on australia.we need more AUG guns from them so many more systems may be so cool if they wana trean us welcome FC is ready.in my think FC will never learn from any one even some one learn them 50 years without pakistani treaners

There is nothing wrong with cooperation, we need that kind of training anyways, to reduce casualties and collateral damage.

The Australian SAS are very well versed in COIN ops and dealing with low intensity warfare seen from Australias peace keeping commitments in the Pacific theatre and from SF operations they have conducted in Baghdad.

They maintain a small but extremely professional army and to dismiss them is naivety at its best.

Agreed :agree:
Aussies have a very small army but then it is according to their own requirements. Aussies have experience of such operations for example in East Timor, dismissing them is arrogant. We can capitalize on their experience and equipment if we can get any. :coffee:

there is nothing bad if we learn some thing from others but we become emotional if we read some thing abut pak army

we dont need austalian trainning they are biggest scared country in this world. their team wont come here because of they scare of terorism how they train us

Super Falcon,

Having studied the ANZACs performance in World War 1 and 2 it is absolute foolishness to accuse the Australian army of being afraid.

These are the type of men who went ashore at Gallipoli and having known a few Aussies in my time they are definitly not cowards.
