Audi Pakistan has been a recipient to growing sales and a growing spike in its fame. The company catapulted its sales and PR with the launch of an economical entry-level German sedan A3 at a price tag of PKR 3.8 million (price has been revised to 4.0 million for the new variant). As it stands, the company will be introducing an entry level SUV Q2 in Pakistan in the first quarter of 2017, which makes one wonder what else can the company do to break the stereotype associated with imported German cars in Pakistan?

As it turns out, the company is laying its card on the table in a very calculated manner. First, Pakistanis witnessed the launch of economical cars – this step mitigated the conception high-price tags associated with the German sedans- and now the company is systematically taking steps to change the conception of ‘Expensive to maintain’ mentality. The company has recently publicized its ‘Service and Maintenance plan’, which features:

  • Fluid levels’ check
  • Exterior and under-body visual check
  • Interior and electrics inspection
  • Audi Service history stamp/record
  • Oil filter replacement
  • Engine oil replacement
  • Interior / Exterior cleaning
and its pricing:

  • Audi A3 (1.2TFSI) @ PKR 9,300.00
  • Audi A3 (1.8TFSI) @ PKR 10,900.00
  • Audi A4 (1.4TFSI) @ PKR 9,300.00
  • Audi A4 (1.8TFSI) @ PKR 10,900.00
  • Audi A5 (1.8TFSI) @ PKR 12,100.00
  • Audi A6 (1.8TFSI) @ PKR 12,100.00
  • Audi A6 (2.0TFSI) @ PKR 12,100.00
  • Audi A6 (2.8FSI) @ PKR 14,850.00
  • Audi A6 (3.0TFSI) @ PKR 14,850.00
  • Audi A7 (3.0TFSI) @ PKR 14,850.00
  • Audi A8 (3.0TFSI) @ PKR 14,850.00
  • Audi Q3 (1.4TFSI) @ PKR 9,300.00
  • Audi Q5 (2.0TFSI) @ PKR 12,100.00
  • Audi Q7 (3.0TFSI) @ PKR 14,850.00
Although, the prices still need to see a lot of decrease, nonetheless it is a start, which has the potential of benefiting Pakistanis in the long run.

There should be a permanent ban on disguised advertisements on this website for all the times.

. . .
Those pricing for service is really cheap for Audi. Here it would cost double that from a reasonable garage. That too an independent one, an Audi garage service would cost even more.

.
I think these are a bit high but I don't know what are market rates for these inspection for other cars..

It is not an advertisement but a little of information for people who have or intend to buy Audi.

That exactly is the definition of an advertisement.

. .
A4s and A6s are a frequent sight --- at least in Lahore.
I know... and I find huge gap between A3 and A4 models... may be its just me but I am more comfortable with these models, prefer Avant versions actually as I got A6 Avant myself...

There is very difference of price in A3 and A4 and those who can afford A3 for 4 million rupees should be comfortable paying bit more for A4... so That is why I am saying that Audi should rather promote A4 in Pakistan

Yes, of course and perhaps you remember that I have been to buy a reasonable car for my father. I have personally been using Audi Q5 here and I'm happy with it but at the same time, I know that maintenance can be an issue with this car in Pakistan so your article comes at a right time though I think it is bit expensive but still it is much cheaper and a new vehicle should be okay for at least 3-4 years in Pakistan.

.
I think Audi need to push for A4 and A6... most Pakistanis will like such models

Haven't you seen the streets of Lahore?

They are littered with A4's and A6's, since they are cheaper than Mercedes or BMW.

Oh, right. Yes, I totally agree! Duty structures are so tricky in Pakistan. The A6 vs. A7 price jump is HUGE in Pakistan (over 1 crore) whereas it's pretty small abroad (mostly because of the A6 has the a base model with a sub-2000cc engine).

.
Nice. Now just just need to buy an Audi.
