Once you drive a electric vehicle, difficult to like a IC engine car.

@N.Siddiqui just giving thumbs up means nothing. Go and take a test drive of a electric vehicle And you will understand my comment.

Don't know how it will feel to me...I like the revs of engine, the Vroom Vroom sounds and all that. The engine throttle and all the noises it makes. Also the control(or the lack of it) too.

Yes E.V's can grow on me and other people...

How much for BMW in Pakistan? I am sure it will be more than my budget + both of my kidneys included.

Although I do agree that Electric cars are different class altogether but there are wide variety of people who still loves to hear the engine revs and that is all they pay for. The future of cars is definitely Electric and those noisy engines will be vanishing every passing year but a lot of us will miss them for long time.

PS: I have had Audi A6 and BMW 5 Series before so I know what I am talking about.

I have driven Tesla Model S for few times but to be honest I loved Jaguar e-Pace way more than Tesla. I just could not set my feet in comfortable position for each time I drove Tesla. I had plans to buy Model 3 but due to the same reason it was scrapped. My cousin have Hyundai Ioniq Electric version (crap car) but surprisingly really nice range and comfortable and in terms of driving I think I liked that more than Tesla.

Buying electric car in Pakistan is a stupid idea unless you live in Lahore, Islamabad or Karachi and enough space in your garage to charge it up at home. I am not hoping to see any charging station for the foreseeable future and if you are commuting to other cities regularly it will be stupid to buy Audi e-tron

My Father in law have Nissan Leaf and I know how much he suffers for charging all the time

You have Series 5 in Pak or UK ?
If UK then does the car rates differ than USA/Middle East as well as the fuel ?

My brother has 740Li in KSA

It's quiet and feels weird, I test drove Kona, 1Km. It will not be the same, but I'm sure I will miss those vibrations of my i20 if I ever buy an EV.

UK..

Not sure about prices in Pakistan and I owned used 2015 model in UK.. not brand new... I recently sold Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV... And now in search of new car

I don't know why but I can't live with mobile, laptop or car for more than 1 year.. so I usually replace my car whenever my insurance expires..

Take a test drive of the lowly nexon ev in sports mode on a empty road. I would buy it but for the low range of around 225 km.

Kona is a very good option. It's sister Kia Niro e+ has got unbelievable range of 280 miles... That is way more reliable than E-tron at half the price. I believe Kona will be giving similar range as well at fraction of the price of Tesla and Audi's...

I couldn't find any place that offers Nexon test drive in Bangalore. I have no problem with the range, but the number of Charging points and fast-charging stations. That's the biggest turnoff when it comes to EV.

The koreans introduced the 41 kwh lower range kona in India. For 25 odd lakh inr , it's in entry luxury car range here. The 280 miles kona has a 61 kwh battery.

Find that strange as on teambhp, posters have started receiving the car from this week. Most are from the south.

I drove my friends Tesla for a few weeks - hated it! Felt like I was driving a fancy go-cart.

The driving comfort is at Merc standard too. The price point in India is 24Lakhs (£27 k), affordable for an upper middle-class family. That'll be my 18-months salary.:D

Wait for Suzuki, they'll make WagonR tin can with 150 miles range at 10 Lakh and sell like hotcakes.

Careful with EV's the batteries are highly combustible - I wouldn't park one in my garage and go to bed.
