Attack on Rangers HQ and The Problem Within | PKKH.tv
PKKH Editorial
A suicide bomber attacked on Rangers Headquarters in N.Nazimabad, Karachi. Two rangers were killed, 21 injured and 3 are in critical condition. This attack can be taken as another strategic strike by terrorists.
But more importantly, its obviously the timing. The Ideas 2012 Expo was started a day before this attack. The same expo has significance in terms of trade, showing Pakistans capability in technological fields and also that Pakistan has the capability to defend not only its own strategic values but also it can assist other nations. A strike such as this attack couldve been the best option to sabotage the plans.
Some people are also talking about another angle; that a referendum called by MQM having the theme of: Quaids Pakistan or Talibans Pakistan. People who are well aware of these slogans, when they didnt pay much attention to the call, the referendum was postponed, but to pave the way a suicide attack can do the trick very well. But all of the above can be taken as conspiracy theories.
We see it in some other perspectives as well. Since the attack on Malala, the pressure on army was immense to start an operation in North Waziristan. Army not only refused but also took a smart step by offering civilian administration to visit NW and resolve the issues instead of launching the operation. Instead taking a step further Pakistan demanded for an operation by NATO against master mind on Malala attack, Fazululah. But soon after, a campaign to defame armed forces started in the media. The Asghar khan case and analysis afterwards not only were playing its part but they also started paving a way for those hounds that were hell bent to subdue the army by all means.
The statement of army chief after verdicts by CJP was also taken as a warning shot by all these analysts. It is also imperative to understand that army never confronted or conflicted with judiciary. In fact it was intervention of army chief that CJP was restored to his current position. So twisting the facts and trying to divert masses attention towards a clash between CJP and Kiyani is another attempt to further create chaos within the ranks of institutions.
But we need to emphasis here that while some intellects, analysts or media outlets are crying over Taliban factor and that SC and MQM are also taking bold steps, they are also stating distorted facts in the same lines that Intelligence agencies or security institutions are failed to handle the situation. We at PKKH produced reports which clears the picture that how these attacks were repulsed and what are the limitations of intelligence agencies in such cases. Also it is to be reminded that it is the same SC which released almost 900 plus potential terrorist, just because the honorable court could not convict them on the basis of lack of evidence and also because security institutes could not charge them under any specific terrorist law. Same terrorists have now become a menace for our society.
We do not need these slogans of referendum or usual propaganda against armed forces and Isalmic organizations. What we need are legislations, there are no laws through which Pakistani security institutes may charge these terrorist. Nations and their intellects make laws according to the circumstances, but no serious effort was carried out to tackle this problem on our legal forums. Instead, we keep on propagating against the capability of our institutions that are fighting hard to defend our integrity and our right of freedom. Instead of propagating and highlighting Fazululah who is sitting in the safe havens of Afghanistan, and telling the nation about bigotry of US by refusing to take action against Fazlulah, we are again highlighting the demand for operation in NW and are still trying to create a rift in society by such bogus referendums. Rangers HQ attack is a reminder to all those who honestly want to do something about the problem of terrorism, they should step forward and take serious measures for coping a problem, which doesnt come under the scope of armed forces.
