Well it was very long range raid, deep inside infact skirting enemy and international territory, without aerial supremacy.

the operation was more complex than if for example right now we want to attack Israel. . we had no precision weapon so we had to rely on iron bombs released from low altitude right on top of the target . and we had to circle around Iraq to escape from their air defense and radars

and the airplane participated in the operation originated from 3 different country, it also consisted several feign attack to make Iraqi air-force look at someplace else and don't look at where they should.
the operation designed several month before and the pilot didn't knew what they are going to do till the night of the operation only that they were removed from their squadrons and were only training for several month on flight endurance and low altitude flying and refueling .
and that in middle of a war that every single aircraft and pilots were crucial for us , I heard the fact that they were removed from fighting force and were only training when the country was under attack was one of their most stressful experience

We won't attack Israel using this approach for sure. USA has provided them with one of the best existing air defense networks/platforms. The radar seeking warheads capable of tracking signals to their location can be sent to Hezbollah. They can blind radar network of israel or at the very least, they can partially deactivate their network even for a couple of minutes which would be enough time for Iran to raze israel with ballistic mjssiles fired from multiple countries.

Israel in fact is less than a push over when it comes to Iranian military power. Our fighter jets will act as an airdefense layer during the war times. Unless we develop a homemade fighter in the same class of F15s or maybe buy from somehwere who knows

I think the hardest part of this operation was fooling Turkish airdefense radars. After which, Iranian fighters could use Syrian airspace for conducting aerial bombardment on Walid airbase which hosted the donated fighters/bombers of Egypt and Soviets.

for attack on isreal we no longer need go near their border , with weapon like heydar II , we can give them a portion of their own medicine and do that with drones like Kasman and fotros. that cruise missile also can turn our fleet of f-5 into a viable ground attack asset, on that post i was talking about the complexity of the operation
