Few weeks ago when a Sikh Gurudwara was bombed in Afghanistan, Pakistanis went on an over drive to paint that as an Indian False flag operation.
Show remorse when caught red handed else paint it as an Indian False flag - This has been the modus operandi of the Pakistanis.
This is the reason why no Indian takes any Pakistani statements seriously, Even if there were some who were genuinely concerned.
No. It is human nature to be disgusted by any immoral act. That disgust is turned into disbelief when the perpetrator of the act is identified with the same religion/ethnicity/nation as their own. Consequently an attempt is made to provide an excuse or reason for the crime, to somehow convince themselves that this perpetrator does not represent us.
All people behave like this, and frankly it is very immature. Therefore, when people like @waz acknowledge the problem, it is much easier to move forward and build bridges. Otherwise people are stuck in the past blaming unrelated events and entities and that serves no purpose or closure for those that suffer.
That is why the concept of justice is important in societies.
