AstraZeneca or BioNTech-Pfizer ?

Is Pfizer available in Pakistan ?

Pakistan has so far approved four vaccines ., Sinopharm (China), Astra Zeneca (UK), Sputnik (Russia) and CanSino (China). Pfizer hasn't been approved so far.

PS: The OP Imran Khan probably lives in middle east.

i have scheduled appointment for vaccination but i am still confused which one is better ? they are using these two vaccines AstraZeneca and BioNTech-Pfizer . i searched on internet but did not find anything good info . i will be vaccinated at 22 march . :D

AstraZeneca.

Pfizer with MRNA moving away from traditional methods. Not good.

.
I took the Sino Pharm Chinese vaccine, one shot, one more to go, nothing happened, not even miniscule side effect. NOTHING

All western vaccines, proving to be more effective, then the Chinese vaccine, do have side effects.

Now, I am wondering, if you don't get side effects, then, does it mean it's not effective enough ?

Just a lay man thought

A lot of Eu countries have begun to ban astrazeneca, not looking too good for it.

I did get astrazena as part of the trials; no issues. but it wont work against the newer variants.

Its frustrating that this blood clot fantasy is getting popular. I am in the health sector and must stress the statistics suggest 1 out of half a million potentially getting a blood clot but the numbers are below the level you would expect in the general population. About 17 million people in the EU and the UK have received a dose of the vaccine, with fewer than 40 cases of blood clots reported as of last week.
The conspiracy theory specialists should take a break from spreading crap and allow a return to normality.....

Go for pfizer because it has more effectiveness as compared to astra Z.

This recent article talks about it.

Sputnik V vaccine

The first consignment of the privately imported Covid-19 vaccine arrived in Karachi on Wednesday.

A local pharmaceutical company, which was allowed its import and distribution, said it would distribute 50,000 doses of the Russia-developed Sputnik V to large hospitals and institutions for administration to people who could afford the jab.

I am thinking to take Russian vaccine. any one with experience or relevant info ?

Astra Zenecca had some deaths and blood clots associated to it in some European countries and they have banned it.
You can look up the information online.
So far, Norway, Iceland, Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Denmark, Austria, Ireland, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Luxembourg, as well as Congo in Central Africa and Thailand in Asia have stalled their rollouts of the AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine, several media outlets reported.

In general, I'll give you the same advise which I gave to my father back home.
Whether you get vaccinated or not is your choice.
I am personally not too keen on introducing some artificial foreign agents to my body and will not take the vaccine. I have already been exposed to covid 19 infected folk and my body has shown resilience in not getting infected. I'll rather stick to that natural immunity of mine instead of trusting something from the "people who wish to control the world".
But if you do want to get the jab, do it a bit late when there is enough data available for the effects of these vaccinations on actual populations of different countries.
It's too early to jump into being a guinea pig of the pharma industrial complex.

Pfizer is newer technology and much better

mRNA technique is creating a stronger immune response.
In short term this may create more symptoms like (fever afterwards)

in long term...we dont know..though it should have fewer side effects given its very clean technique and much longer immunity ..think of it as 5G vs 2G technology of astrezenca.

Having said it is still a new tech and we dont know of its long term consequences

There is no open source data ..but i will assume it should be similar to other vaccines around 60-70% but lower then pfizer vaccines

Natural immunity didnt created the population problem

Vaccines did..

Talk to your grand mother..see if see remembers the era of small pox when whole population centers will disappear over days
