Assam trying to gain independence

NEW DELHI: Five people were killed and 40 others were wounded in 3 blasts in India’s Assam State on Thursday, an Indian TV channel reported.

It was reported that the blasts occurred at a time when Indian Home Minister, P. Chidambaram was about to visit the area.

The first blast occurred in Berobari, second in Bhoothnath while the third blast hit Bhanganagar area.

The blasts were caused by explosives strapped to bicycles.

Relief activities have been started and wounded are being shifted to hospital.

Police has cordoned off the area and people have been directed to stay away from the blasts sites.

The game has begun, the oppressed people will soon gain independence!
