Assad regime may not be fully trekking on the western democratic lines but Syria; a land known for its liberty is a base of lot many old civilizations. Even today all the people feel free leading their different faiths and beliefs. They live happily and in harmony. Sadly they are now subjected to their inhalation of society through a measured Saudi Salafist subversion and Syria’s cultural heritage being looted and destroyed. A total destruction of this old civilization of Damascus is lurking on the horizon where bombardment of US forces is very much expected. It is feared that at the hands of tyrants, a peace loving country may turn into ashes and ruins like Iraq.

At our end; in our society in Pakistan; an army of Salafist monsters is fast encroaching all the spheres of life. They are seen rattling their sabres at many occasions showing their eager to take over the country. Salafist believe in Violent Jihad to impose a Rule of totalitarian through coercion; with no fear of any destruction or anarchy that it may entail. For instance the old Khyber Medical University at Peshawar has recently decided to introduce Hijab for all female medical students and their female professors, presumably on the threat received from Tehrik e Taliban. TTP is a component of salafist, who previously bombed a university bus carrying medical students. They were targeted for not adhering to wearing Hijab by females and some 14 students were killed.

Wearing of Hijab may be a perfect practice by females, as nature has carved the women so beautiful to look at. Feminine beauty does demand that it be protected, like we protect the pearls in our possession…and who would not like that our precious genteel be asked to wear some kind of veil in case they need to escape the prying eyes, in a degraded society like ours that we live. But…in the shadows of it, to meet the effeminate requirements of genteel; grounds are being prepared through fear and terror; to soften up the masses on to the line to submit to a particular Salafist coercive mythology.

If we may also sample the winds blowing in our near west and taste; we find that Salafist have taken over Egypt. Iraq is already down and Saudis have moved thousands of Salafist terrorists for subversion in Syria to bring Assad regime down and take that country in Saudi fold. Unfortunately rebels have not made good progress in Syria and rich Salafist regime of Saudis has asked the Superpower—US to come and attack Syria instead. US Secretary John kerry, while making his statement in congress also admitted that some Arab countries have offered to pay the entire cost of a US attack on Syria. US is hired.

All the despots they use the technique of spread of fear and terror as a weapon to advance their system of belief and to coerce the masses into submission. Hitler picked the gassing and killing of Jews all over in Europe to spread his fear and terror of German armies and to pursue his design of expansionism to bring the European countries in German fold. Millions of Jews were gassed and killed; likewise Salafist have started killing of Shiite. Shiites is a Muslim sect that Salafist portray them infidel among the Muslims and relegate them to be killed. Thousands of Shiites in Iraq, Pakistan, Jordan and Syria and at many other places, are reported to have brutally been killed by Salafist Terrorist groups on the same pretext. This precedence is now set and killing of Shiites is termed as brutal Civil war in any country wherever Salafist influence is prevalent. After Syria, Pakistan may be the first country to brace this volatile Civil War; where Salafist are most active and busy eroding government writ. Afghanistan and Central Asia countries are the next.

In compliance of the desire of rich Salafist regime of Saudis, to avail a regime change in Syria, President Barack Obama the commander in chief of the Superpower—US has spent last week drumming up support in Congress for a punitive strike on the Assad regime in Syria. The American government contends that the regime crossed a “red line” when it used chemical weapons to kill more than 1,400 people in a Damascus suburb on August 21st.

This is bizarre contention; since exploded chemical of sarin found on sites is non-military grade and is part of other similar stock found on the sites in possession of rebels. Reportedly sarin gas canister held with rebels, either exploded accidentally, when rebel were preparing to fire or when rebel’s dens were shelled by Syrian army and canisters caught fire.

The Dilemma that this world is confronted with are it’s Tyrants; who feel Honour in hoisting their flags of Victory …on ruins.

And

When so many oppressor forces are hovering around Damascus to unleash the atrocities and eliminate Assad regime; how long Assad would hold the candle up in the wind. It’s anybody’s guess…!

All true, but to call Assad a candle in the wind is laughable. Do you remember how all this started? 15 school kids tortured over graffiti. The first round of protest about this blamed the security forces, and NOT Assad, who they thought was above this....and would correct it when he found out. But of course, in his first speech....he alluded that the protesters were political terrorist. That's when things took off.
