It's called 'capitalism'. But I wouldn't expect a Russian that thinks RTV and PressTV is real news to understand.:usflag:

ohh really? China has 3.9 trillion dollars in the world how about you let them buy General motors, exxon mobile, apple and the rest of nasdaq? Man they must be really stupid for not doing it?

Or maybe they aren't for sale. Chrysler was bought by Fiat, Budweiser by Inbev... and you don't see us whining like a little bitch.

youre just selling your most crappy and bankrupt companies no one wants while buying the best of the best abroad

Let me give some Indian examples, TATA group purchased the ailing British Land Rover. Today the company is one of the largest employers in UK. ArcelorMittal, the largest steel producer in the world is owned by an Indian. In short the Europeans and Americans are not stopping us Asians from buying their businesses.

The US blocks us from buying any US companies that will have national security concern. They even block us from bidding for Sprint. It is typical of the US double standard. They always use the "national security" excuse to stop us from buying US asset.

For one, of the 4 companies listed here, only 3 were minor Japanese tech organizations. The one listed was Samsung, which is Korean. And to answer your question as to why they were sold, it's because they were on sale, its simple business acquisition.

I mean, Japan regularly purchases American businesses as well. For example, this year the well known American whisky Beam
was purchased by Japanese conglomerate Suntory Holdings for a staggering $13.6 billion. Suntory is paying a premium of 25% for Beam, which makes Jim Beam and Maker's Mark bourbon and Sauza tequila among others. That's $83.50 a share, or 25% higher than Beam's closing price of $66.97 on Friday. The deal's value was estimated by both parties to be about $16 billion including debt.

It's business, baby.

Abe needs American permission to re-militarize. Japan is currently a political and military colony of the USA, but retains a lot of economic sovereignty thanks to their strong economy and closed markets. The concessions Abe is offering are TPP membership, which will turn Japan into economic colony, and further American penetration into Japanese industries.

Abe is exchanging being a military colony for being an economic colony. We will see in time if it is a worthy trade.
