There is a factor of home advantage - but I don't think India will be first if games were held in India. India (whole of south Asia actually) does not have a sporting culture.

Taipei + HK together is 4th on the list and very small population too. Asian games is like olympic basketball and China always wins.

excellent performance by india so far.

today won 14 medals taking to total 52 medals . looks like india will cross its best ever tally (70) 2018 jakarta .

hope it will cross 100 medals.

Expecting china will repeat its feat of 2010 (guangzhou asian games) by winning 400 + medals. and 200 + gold
